    Inviting your team

How coaches and players join: email invites for coaches, an app code for players.

    Updated Jun 22, 2026

Two kinds of people join SquadX, and they join in two different ways. Getting this right saves a lot of back and forth.

Coaches and admins join by email

An admin sends an invitation, and the person gets an email with a link to set up their account. Use this for your fellow coaches and anyone helping to run the club.

Players join with a code, in the app

Each team has an invite code. Share it with your players, and they enter it in the SquadX mobile app to join the team. Players do not need an email invite or an account you create for them. They join themselves with the code.

You can copy the code to share it, and reset it whenever you want. Resetting is useful if a code has been passed around too widely and you want to close it off.

    Once they are in

Coaches get the team's planning tools. Players see their training schedule, RSVP to sessions, and keep their own profile. The schedule they see is the one their coach sets.

    Tip

Coaches get an email invite. Players get the team code and join through the app. Sending a player an email invite, or a coach the team code, is the most common mix-up.
