Terms of Service
Last updated: June 23, 2026
Overview
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the SquadX platform — the coach-facing web app and the player-facing mobile app (together, the "Service") — operated by MB Ekipax ("SquadX", "we", "us"), Vilnius, Lithuania. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Eligibility & accounts
You must provide accurate and complete information and keep your credentials secure; you are responsible for activity under your account. Coaches and club administrators must be at least 18 years old to create an account. Players join a team using an invite code from their coach.
Minors
Players may be minors. A minor may only use the Service with the involvement and consent of a parent/guardian and their club, as required by local law. The club is responsible for obtaining that consent.
2. The Service
SquadX helps clubs manage rosters, training plans, schedules, evaluations, and match-day workflows, and lets players view their schedule, RSVP, complete check-ins, and see their own information. The platform includes:
- SquadXHandball — season planning, sessions, drills, and player tracking, with the SquadXMatch and SquadXAnalytics modules all included in one subscription.
- SquadXMatch — match insights: pre-match readiness check-ins, post-match self-reviews, and AI-generated coach summaries with training priorities.
- SquadXAnalytics — performance dashboards for team and player tracking.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." We continuously improve the platform, and features may change over time.
3. Roles & responsibilities
Coaches & clubs (web app)
The club controls its roster and training data and is responsible for having a lawful basis (including any required parental consent) to record player data, for the accuracy of that data, and for how its coaches use it. As a coach, you are responsible for informing your players that you use SquadX to record their data, and you agree to use player data only for legitimate team-management purposes. Under the GDPR, the coach/club is the data controller for the team's data.
Players (mobile app)
You agree to provide accurate information and to use the app for your own participation. You cannot edit the coach-managed roster record; contact your coach for corrections.
4. Subscriptions & payments
Paid subscriptions are purchased by clubs/coaches on the web app via Stripe. Players do not pay and access the Service through their club's subscription. Subscriptions renew until cancelled; manage or cancel via the billing portal.
- SquadXHandball: €19.90/month (pre-season rate; regular price €29.90/month). Free until September 1, 2026 — a card is required at signup and the first charge is on September 1.
- One subscription includes all features and every module — unlimited players, unlimited match cycles, and unlimited responses.
- All prices are in EUR and inclusive of applicable taxes.
- Prices may change with 30 days' written notice to existing subscribers.
5. Cancellation & refunds
- Monthly subscriptions: cancel at any time. Access continues until the end of the current billing period, and cancelling before September 1, 2026 means no charge. No refund is given for the current billing period.
- We reserve the right to offer refunds on a case-by-case basis at our discretion. This does not affect any non-waivable statutory rights you may have.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- misuse the Service, attempt to breach security, or access data you're not authorized to;
- upload unlawful content or infringe others' rights;
- use another person's data for any purpose beyond legitimate team management;
- reverse-engineer, copy, or redistribute any part of the platform.
7. AI features
Some coach features use AI (e.g. drill descriptions and training-plan suggestions). AI output is a suggestion only, may be inaccurate, and does not replace the coach's professional judgment. You are responsible for reviewing AI output and deciding what to use.
8. No medical or professional advice
Injury, fitness, and wellness data are records you or your coach choose to keep — they are not medical advice. The Service is a coaching support tool and does not provide medical, psychological, or professional advice, and we are not liable for coaching decisions made on the basis of SquadX insights. Always consult a qualified professional for medical decisions.
9. Intellectual property & your content
SquadX and its software, design, and brand are owned by MB Ekipax. Content you create — including team data, drills, plans, notes, survey responses, and generated insights — remains yours / your club's. You grant SquadX a limited license to host and process that content solely to provide and improve the Service. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from the SquadX platform.
10. Service availability
- We aim for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime.
- We may perform maintenance that temporarily affects access — we will provide notice when possible.
- We may modify, add, or discontinue features with reasonable notice; significant changes are communicated by email to registered users.
11. Disclaimers & limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, and our total liability to you is limited to the total amount you have paid to SquadX in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law.
12. Termination & account deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. Players can delete their account in the app (see the account deletion page). A club may cancel its subscription via the billing portal. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms or to comply with law. Upon termination, your data is deleted within 30 days, except for the minimal roster record described in the Privacy Policy. Sections on intellectual property, limitation of liability, and governing law survive termination.
13. Governing law & disputes
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Lithuania. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved in the courts of Vilnius, Lithuania, except where mandatory local consumer law provides otherwise.
14. Changes & contact
We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the changes. For questions about these Terms:
