A Champions League coach builds the tools he wished he had.
SquadX is a coaching intelligence platform for handball, co-founded by Gintaras Savukynas — a coach with 20+ years of experience across 8 countries. From this season a head coach in Norway's top division, he previously led HC Motor Zaporizhzhia (Ukraine) to the EHF Champions League Top 12 and three consecutive Ukrainian titles, and serves as head coach of the Lithuanian National Team across two terms since 2009.
The platform gives coaches a repeating system: collect player signals before and after matches, interpret patterns, and convert insights into concrete training decisions. SquadX launched in February 2026.

About the Co-founder
Gintaras Savukynas is a Lithuanian handball coach with over 20 years in the sport. As a player, he captained the Lithuanian national team and was named one of the best Lithuanian handball players of the 20th century. From this season he is a head coach in Norway's top division, and has also coached in the top divisions of Iceland and Qatar. As head coach of HC Motor Zaporizhzhia (Ukraine) he reached the EHF Champions League Top 12 and won three consecutive Ukrainian titles. He earlier coached Riihimäen Cocks in Finland. He serves as head coach of the Lithuanian National Team across two terms since 2009 and holds the EHF Master Coach certification.
