An AI on its own knows nothing about your team, and it will fill the gap with something that sounds right. So Lucas never works alone. Every note he writes is built in the same order.

This is the note before a training session. Here is the whole thing.
Lucas does not look through your data. He gets a short fact sheet made for this one note, and a few rules for what a good note looks like. Nothing else.

- Do not repeat who is in or out. The card already shows it.
- Use the facts to shape this training.

What he will not do
THREE THINGS HE NEVER DOES.
He never makes things up
No invented drills, numbers, names or dates. Every drill comes from the library. When something cannot be known yet, he says so: no check-ins have come in yet.
He never saves anything himself
Plans open in the normal editor. Nothing changes in SquadX until you press Save.
He never talks to your players
Lucas is for the coach. Players use the app for their calendar and check-ins, and never see him.
The rules he works under

Six age groups, from mini-handball to adults. For each one, rules on load, intensity, how a training is built, which games fit, and how competition should feel. Some are fixed and he cannot break them. For the youngest groups, that means no loaded strength work and no plyometrics.
These rules are not a promise about results. They are what stops Lucas giving an under-11 team a senior training.

Is this just ChatGPT with a handball skin?
No. The AI model does the writing. What makes Lucas useful is what we put around it: rules from an EHF Master Coach, a library of drills to choose from, a profile of your actual team, and a short fact sheet for every note. Give the same model none of that and you get generic advice. Give it ours and you get: no keeper Saturday, adapt the shooting drills.
Which AI does Lucas use?
Claude models from Anthropic, in different sizes for different jobs. We rent them. We do not build or train our own.
Is my team's data used to train the AI?
No. We do not train anything, and under the terms we use, Anthropic does not train on what we send. Your team's data is stored with us, in the EU.
Does he make things up?
He is only given facts our own code has prepared for that one note, and told to add nothing else. When something cannot be known, he says so instead of guessing. The facts sit next to the note, so you can check.
Does he decide for me?
No. He drafts, you decide. Every plan opens in the editor and nothing is saved until you save it. He cannot change anything in SquadX on his own.
Can my players talk to him?
No. Lucas is for coaches. Players use the SquadX app for their calendar and check-ins.
Can he replace a coach?
No. He is built for coaches who know handball and are short on time. He gives you back the structure. The coaching stays with you.
