A match is where the week's work gets tested, and where you learn the most about your players. In SquadX you add the match once, your players check in before and after it, and Coach Lucas turns their answers into one brief for you.
The five steps of a match
Match Centre runs a match in five steps: scouting, pre match, match day, post-game and review. You do not have to fill them in order. Go straight to match day, or straight to the review afterwards.
- Scouting. Coach Lucas writes a report on the opponent and remembers every game you have played against them.
- Pre match. Your players' check-ins come in and Lucas writes a pre-match brief.
- Match day. Your plan for the day, on your phone in the hall.
- Post-game. Players check in again, you rate effort, focus and attitude, and Lucas writes the brief.
- Review. What Lucas made of the match first, the numbers one click away.

Your players answer on the player app. Nothing to chase in the group chat.

These are the defaults. You can change the timing per team, switch either check-in off, and skip them for friendlies.
Not every player answers every time. That is normal. The brief says how many answered and who is missing, and works with what you have.
Your own notes and ratings
Add your own observations at each step. After the game, rate each player's effort, focus and attitude. The ratings land on every player's profile, so a season of matches builds into a picture you can look back across.

Match stats
You can also record the game itself, live or afterwards. Results feed your Analytics dashboard, so the match picture sits next to attendance and effort. See Statistics for reading the numbers.
