    Recording a match

Log matches and build your team's history. Arriving in July.

    Updated Jun 22, 2026

    Heads up

Match recording arrives in July. This page explains what is coming.

Recording a match is how a game becomes something you can learn from. You add the match, record what happens, live as it plays or afterwards, and it builds into your team's history.

    What it will do

    • Add a match with the opponent and the date.
    • Record the game across attack, defence and the general run of play, down to detail like attack-type effectiveness, either live during the match or entered afterwards.
    • Build a history the rest of SquadX reads from, so a season of games becomes something you can look back across rather than a set of forgotten scorelines.

Results also feed your Analytics dashboard, so the match picture sits next to attendance and effort in one place.

    When it arrives

Match recording is part of your SquadX subscription, at no extra cost. When it is switched on it will appear in your sidebar.
