    Creating your own drills

Add the drills you already run, so the whole library is yours.

    Updated Jun 22, 2026

The Drill Library ships with drills, but the ones you reach for most are often your own: the club warm-up, the goalkeeper work you have run for years, the shooting series that fits your group. You can add those to SquadX so they live in one library with everything else.

    What a drill needs

When you create a drill you give it the same things the built-in ones have, so it behaves identically in a session:

    • A name and a category for what it trains.
    • A duration in minutes, so it counts toward a session's time.
    • An age group, so it shows up for the right players.
    • A description, written the way you actually coach it.

    Add a video

You can attach a video to a drill. For anything that is easier to show than to write, a clip means you and your players see it the same way, and it sits one tap away inside the session.

They sit beside the built-in drills

Your drills appear in the library next to SquadX's, with the same filters and the same behaviour. When you build a session you pull from both without thinking about where a drill came from.
