Before you start
Do my players need an app?
Yes, the SquadX player app. You invite them once and they answer there before and after each match. Unlimited players, included in your subscription.
Will my players actually answer?
Not all of them, and that is fine. Coach Lucas works with the answers you get and shows you who is missing, so you can nudge the rest.
When do the check-ins open?
By default 3 hours before throw-off and an hour after the final whistle. You can change the timing per team.
Will I be charged during the free trial?
No. The first 14 days are free. We ask for a card so your season does not break the day the trial ends. Cancel any time during the trial and you pay nothing.
What does it cost after?
€19.90/mo, down from €29.90 and locked for good. One subscription covers everything: player check-ins, match briefs, sessions, drills, player records and the player app, with unlimited players. Monthly, cancel anytime.
We already use Spond or Holdsport. Do we need SquadX?
Keep them for club admin and parents. SquadX is the coaching side: your players' check-ins, the brief after every match, and your sessions.
Is Coach Lucas just ChatGPT for handball?
No. ChatGPT only knows what you type. Coach Lucas reads what your players answered, your match and your season so far, and works from an EHF Master Coach's method.
Is my players' data safe?
Yes. Everything is EU-hosted and GDPR-aligned, and row-level security means a coach only sees their own club. You can export or delete your data at any time; the detail is in our privacy policy.
Is it in my language?
The app is in eleven: English, Deutsch, Español, Français, Magyar, Hrvatski, Lietuvių, Українська, Dansk, Norsk bokmål, Svenska. This site is also in Polski, Português and Português (Brasil). Your choice here follows you into the app when you sign in, wherever the app has that language.
Can my club pay for it?
Yes. Clubs and federations run on a custom plan for several teams and coaches. Book a demo and we set it up with your club.
Is it for my level?
From U14 to senior. If your team plays a match most weeks, it fits.
What happens to my data if I cancel?
It stays in your account. Nothing is deleted and you can export it at any time.
